Classes Begin

Tuesday, October 11th

CityStep classes begin for the year at Fletcher-Maynard Academy, Kennedy-Longfellow School, and the Amigos School.  Students enroll in either the first, second, or third year program and will take classes twice a week until the final show in March.

3YP Performance

Saturday, October 29th at 5:30pm

Come support CitySteppers in the Third Year Program (3YP) as they star as guest performers in Expressions Dance Company's fall show!  Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door and can be purchased at the Harvard Box Office. More details on how to obtain tickets can be found [2] here.  Come support 3YP at their first performance opportunity of the year!  Ooh Ahh!!

Throughout the month of November, each class will hold a mini-performance (affectionately known as 'mini-p's) and/or open house during the normal class time. Students will display some of the dance steps and games they've learned so far. Parents are invited and encouraged to attend!

Harvard Campus

Get excited for one of the signature events of the Citystep year--the All Day! All Citystep classes will descend on campus to practice and run through their dance routines in front of a supportive audience (each other!), to foster friendship and camraderie within the greater Citystep community through games and activities, and to experience Harvard's campus. The All Day Rehearsal is the favorite event of the year for many CitySteppers because unprecedented bonding and dance development occurs! You don't want to miss this so mark your calendars early!

March 30th & March 31st

Sanders Theater, 45 Quincy St. Cambridge, MA.

Join us for the 29th Annual CityStep Show, a completely original dance-theater performance created and performed by Cambridge youth and Harvard undergraduates! The culmination of a year-long collaboration, the original work showcases the creativity and dedication of each class.  This year's performance will take place on Friday, March 30th and Saturday, March 31st in Sanders Theater at 45 Quincy Street.  Look out for more information this winter on show times and how to obtain tickets!
