Dear CityStep,

Thank you for a great year. You and the other teachers showed me how to do things I never knew I could do. And when I thought I couldn't do it you gave me the encouragement I needed to continue.

Sincerely,
Graham

Why should you get involved with CityStep?

CityStep has grown from a small public service student organization to Cambridge Public School's only elementary-level dance education program and one of Harvard's largest student groups, but only with the support of generous donors and devoted volunteers. In fact, since its inception, over 13,000 people have contributed to CityStep's success—but we're always looking for more! Get in touch and become the 13,001st friend of CityStep!

How can you get involved?

Your time, energy and ideas are the most valuable resources. If you're interested in sharing your expertise or enthusiasm with CityStep, there are multiple venues for doing so, from attending our annual CityStep Ball Fundraiser or CityStep Show, to getting involved directly with our students.

If you're a Harvard undergraduate, you can contact CityStep's leadership on campus to learn about becoming a producer, teacher or composer. Producers run the business side of CityStep, managing and planning almost every detail of CityStep's major events. Teachers, in teams of 5 or 6, work with their students for the entire year. Composers, in addition to debuting original work every year at the CityStep Show, are an integral part of every teacher team, planning and teaching music workshops that illustrate the interactivity of dance and music.

If you are knowledgeable about different types of dance and would like to be a guest workshop presenter for a CityStep class, we welcome your talent and energy into the clasroom! If you have a mind for business, fundraising campaign expertise, or great with graphic design, CityStep has could use your help. Contact us at harvardcollege@citystep.org and let us know how you'd like to contribute to CityStep.

Also essential to making CityStep's program possible are donations and grants from concerned friends, parents, students, arts activists and corporations. If you would like to make a donation to CityStep, simply contact us and we'll provide you with all the information you'll need to make a tax-deductible donation. Your donation will directly benefit CityStep's students, financing the biggest, best, and longest-lasting dance party to ever hit Cambridge Public Schools!

If you would like to support us financially, make a donation.
